How should I supply masters?
Please use good grade media and write the disc at low speed (4 speed is preferable, however some writers default to 8 speed), masters should be free or dirt scratches and finger prints and packed into album type jewel cases as this offers the best protection for the disc. Please do not send discs in PVC or card wallets as this can result in damage to the master that might cause the disc to be rejected from glass mastering.
We can also accept masters on Exabyte and Umatic 1630. At the moment the only accept masters over the internet if sent as DDPi with MD5 checksum. You also might want to check out our blog with lots of useful information on supplying Masters for manufacturing

Good evening,
Is it possible to order 10 different cds of 100 to make up 1000 units?
Hi Mark,
Afraid that is not something we could do. All of our CD’s are manufactured on large pressing machines using stampers made from the glass mastering process. Unfortunately it is not economical to create a glass master and set-up a CD press for runs less than 500 discs.
For orders of 250 discs or less, you are best looking at CD duplication. This is a different process to CD pressing, and is not something that we do, as the quality is not comparable to manufactured CD’s.

hi
i would like to know what the turn around time for 500 CDs 4 page booklet jewel cases are.
Thanks
Hi Lanre,
From you supplying us with CD master and artwork to our specifications, allow 14 -16 days for delivery, this is real calendar days and not working days. Please note that around bank holidays lead times may increase by a day or two.

Is there a choice between gloss and matt paper for the CD tray inlay and booklet?
Hi Jay,
Our standard CD & DVD booklet paper is gloss, this is the same type of paper that used on the vast majority of releases worldwide. We are able to print on matt paper, however this does cost extra, the actual cost will depend on how many pages your booklet contains and the quantity being printed. On lower runs between 500 – 2000 units the additional extra cost can be quite high, as we loose the economy of scale of running several jobs together, it would require the printer to run just one job on the press.
For larger orders the price will reduce as we again have a printing press running at full capacity.
Hope this all makes sense, but let me know if you need any clarification.
Cheers
Kev
